The poppy is beautiful in bloom, but even more remarkable once the petals have fallen away. A single dried poppy centre holds over a thousand miniscule seeds. So though it is only one small plant, it could help create an entire field of poppies. Your smallest efforts are never insignificant.
 
Moulds were created from dried poppy centres from my garden and then cast in precious metal clay. The result is a fine silver decoration on sterling silver half-hoops and posts. All the silver is recycled.
 
Poppy measures approx: 1 cm diamenter and drop on earrings is approx 3 cm including the charm.
